Welcome to my book listings. Books have always been important as a resource to help educate the collector. Equally important to the collector is a bookseller who specializes in books whose subject matter closely matches the manner of collection. I offer for sale on my site books which are of particular interest to the collector of numismatics and militaria. I also carry books which are of interest to the metal detector hobbyist or those enamored of buried or sunken treasures. My book listings are divided into three categories: numismatic, military, and treasure. Featured Author: Robert "Frogfoot Weller"
|
Bob Weller got his nickname while serving
with the Navy Underwater Demolition Team ONE during the Korean War. He began salvaging
Spanish galleons in the Florida Keys in 1960 at a time when the 1733 fleet of Spanish
galleons were first being located. It was a time of excitement and reward for those
that followed their dreams of sunken treasure, and Bob found more than his share.
Since 1978 he has been methodically salvaging the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet, an
experience that has allowed him to author books which put the reader "on the
bottom" with the salvage crews. He is a regular attendee of the Florida United
Numismatists (FUN) shows and an organizer and presenter of seminars on salvaging
sunken treasure.
