5-12-08 My colleague and good friend, Dan Sedwick, has his newest treasure auction, Treasure Auction #3, well under way. I developed the new webpages for this auction and there are many wonderful and rare coins and artifacts to be had in the sale. Please visit his website and check out what he has for bid. The auction closes May 29, 2008 at 5 PM EDT so be sure to get your bids in. If you would like a copy of his printed catalog, I have them available on eBay via buy it now through Workmansbooks or through Kingofcobs. They can also be purchased on his Treasure Auction main page. 4-9-08 Well, a belated Happy new Year, St Valentine's Day, St Patty's Day and Easter to everyone! I have been nose to the grindstone since the New Year working on several projects and as a result I have been slack on getting new material uploaded to my website. I have not been slack, however, on bringing in new material and I will have two large consignments of Latin American numismatic material, sunken treasure, pirates and shipwrecks. Being offered are selections from the Bruce Prior Library of Shipwreck and Sunken Treasure Books. Many of you will recall these selections from being offered in Dan Sedwick's second treasure auction. Many of the books are about Australian shipwrecks and as such are very difficult to come by here in the US. Also being offered is a Special Library Collection from a Private Collector of Latin American numismatic books, pirate books and books on shipwrecks and sunken treasure. There is a wide variety of material that should touch on an equally wide range of interests. In the coming weeks, I will be adding new items to the Freeman Craig, Jr. Numismatic Library page in addition to my Numismatic book and Shipwreck and Treasure book pages so please keep checking back often. |
